Teosyal Redensity Treatment for Men

Teosyal Redensity is a hyaluronic acid product family used for skin quality and, in the Redensity II form, for the under-eye area. It is assessed and injected by an SMC-registered doctor.

Abstract macro still life: layered translucent planes of gel catching the light, standing in for a layered hyaluronic acid formulation.

Quick answer

Redensity I is used across an area for skin quality. Redensity II is the under-eye indication, placed conservatively because the skin there is thin. The under-eye is the least forgiving area on the face and is assessed carefully before anything is offered.

What it is

Teosyal Redensity is a hyaluronic acid product family. Redensity I is a skin-quality formulation placed superficially. Redensity II is formulated for the tear trough and is placed deep against bone in small amounts.

Not every tired-looking under-eye is a candidate. Where the cause is fluid, allergy, thin skin with visible vessels or a heavy fat pad, injecting product can make the area look worse, and your doctor will say so.

Redensity I and Redensity II

Redensity I
A lightly crosslinked booster placed as superficial microdroplets across an area for skin quality and fine surface lines. Because it is not placed as a deep bolus, it does not carry the risk of visible product under thin skin.
Redensity II
The crosslinked tear-trough variant, placed deep and in small amounts for a hollow under the eye. This is the variant that can show through thin skin if placed too superficially or in too great a volume, which is why it is placed conservatively and reviewed.
Assessment gate
Your doctor decides which, if either, applies to your anatomy. A tear trough with poor skin quality and no hollowing is not a Redensity II case.

What it treats

  • Hollowing of the tear trough, where anatomy is suitable
  • Fine surface lines and skin quality across the mid-face
  • Tired-looking under-eyes where the cause is a hollow rather than pigment or fluid

The procedure, step by step

Assessment first, including what is actually causing the appearance you dislike. Photographs are taken for your notes only and are not published.

Topical numbing cream is applied and the area is cleaned.

Product is placed with a needle or a cannula depending on the area. Session length depends on the area treated and is confirmed by your doctor at consultation.

The area is cooled, aftercare is explained and a review is booked to check the result before any further product is considered.

Results timeline

The under-eye area swells before it settles, so the first days are not the result. A review is booked deliberately so that nothing more is added too early.

Where the treatment is right for the anatomy, the change is visible once swelling settles. Results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.

Downtime and aftercare

Swelling and bruising are common in the under-eye area and can last several days. Sleep with your head slightly raised for the first two nights.

Avoid heavy exercise, sauna and alcohol for twenty-four hours. Contact the clinic immediately if you develop severe pain, blanching of the skin or any change in vision.

Course and maintenance

The under-eye is treated conservatively: a small amount, then a review, rather than a full correction in one sitting.

Longevity varies by area and by person. The duration you can reasonably expect, and the interval at which you are reviewed, are set by your doctor at consultation rather than quoted in advance.

What determines the cost

What moves the cost here is whether one area or several are treated and how much product the correction actually needs, which under the eye is deliberately small.

Product and provenance

Teosyal Redensity is a hyaluronic acid product combined with a dermo-restructuring complex of eight amino acids, three antioxidants, two minerals and vitamin B6. That complex, and the light gel the hyaluronic acid is carried in, are what suit it to fine, superficial placement rather than to volume.

Products are sourced through official distribution channels and the batch number of every product used is recorded in your notes.

Why patients choose Hisential for this

  • Every injection in this area is performed by an SMC-registered doctor, not delegated.
  • Under-eye work is done conservatively, a small amount at a time, with a review booked before anything further is added.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers, written by our clinical team. Tap any question for its direct permalink, or reach out to your Personal Concierge for anything else.

  1. Can everyone have under-eye treatment?

No. Where the appearance is caused by fluid, pigment, thin skin with visible vessels or a fat pad rather than a hollow, product can make it look worse. Assessment decides.

  2. Why is a review booked?

Because the area swells first. A review lets your doctor judge the settled result before considering anything further.

  3. How long does bruising last?

Bruising in this area can last several days. It is common rather than a complication.

  4. Is it the same as a skin booster?

No. Redensity II is placed deep for a hollow. Skin boosters work on skin quality and do not fill a hollow.

  5. What are the risks and side effects of Teosyal Redensity?

Common and temporary: swelling, bruising and tenderness, which are common in the under-eye area and can last several days. Less common: prolonged swelling, lumpiness and asymmetry. Visible product under thin skin, sometimes with a bluish cast, applies to the crosslinked tear-trough variant placed deep under the eye, not to the lightly crosslinked booster placed as superficial microdroplets for skin quality. Because these products are hyaluronic acid, they can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if the result needs correcting. Rare but serious: vascular occlusion, where product enters or compresses a blood vessel. This can cause skin loss and, where vessels around the eye are involved, visual loss. It is a medical emergency. The warning signs are severe or increasing pain, blanching or dusky discolouration of the skin, and any change in vision. Contact the clinic immediately if any of these appear.

  6. Who is not suitable for Teosyal Redensity?

Under-eye treatment is not suitable where the appearance is caused by fluid, pigment, thin skin with visible vessels or a prominent fat pad rather than a hollow, and a known allergy to hyaluronic acid excludes it. The general exclusions that apply to every injectable, active infection or inflammation in the area to be treated, a bleeding or clotting disorder, and blood thinners, are set out in full on the dermal fillers page. A known allergy to any component of the product excludes it. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are contraindications.

  7. Who performs the treatment?

Every injection at Hisential is performed by an SMC-registered doctor.
